The Swiss Eye Apache is a multifunctional sports/protective goggle with shatterproof polycarbonate lens, which has an anti-fog/anti-scratch coating. The shape of the glass, which is pulled back to the side, also protects the entire eye area from annoying light reflections. The Apache sunglasses come with 2 additional, interchangeable lenses in orange and clear. The scope of delivery includes a microfiber bag that can also be used to clean glasses.

STANAG 2920/4296

STANAG is the abbreviation for standardization agreement, in the original “Standardization Agreement”. The Convention deals with testing the ballistic threat posed by fragmentation projectiles. In a special test procedure, called V-50, half of the shots must penetrate the target material and the other half of the shots must not penetrate the target material. An even number of shots, at least six, is used to calculate the V-50 value. The measured value is the arithmetic mean of the group of measured velocities.

The American ANSI guideline defines the essential requirements for devices for eye and face protection in order to minimize or prevent accidents such as impacts etc.
