The XA FORCES MID GTX is definitely an ankle-high shoe that will accompany the wearer for a long time. The shoe was developed on the basis of the famous and popular XA PRO 3D MID GTX and is even more oriented towards the requirements of the most flexible usage situations possible. With a GORE-TEX membrane it is waterproof, although the anti-debris mesh forms a light and, above all, flexible base structure. With double seams, the XA FORCES MID GTX has been redesigned for durability. In this regard, the rubber heel and toe reinforcements also help reduce abrasion.

The 3D Advanced Chassis construction supports the foot and ensures a good fit. In addition, the toe cap was expanded so that wearing comfort could be further improved. The instep has also been strengthened compared to the previous model, so that it can now provide much better support for climbing and fast abseiling operations.

When it comes to the sole construction, Salomon remains true to the tried and tested combination and combines the Contagrip rubber outsole with an EVA midsole and an OrthoLite insole.
