Training Tri-Folds are identical to standard restraints in material, construction and function, but can be loosened and removed without cutting. This accelerates the pace of training, increases safety and avoids the waste of "live" restraints and their disposal.

As the name suggests, the straps of the lightweight ASP Tri-Fold Disposable Restraints fold in three places for ultra-compact storage on a belt or vest. When in use, they offer wide, open loops for quick and easy application. They are perfect for crowd control, military use, aviation security and other situations where traditional handcuffs are not practical or desirable. The tri-fold straps are extra wide, have smooth edges for safety, and pass through a fully enclosed ratchet block with a washer guard to prevent pullout. The strap can be tightened quickly and safely using the included pull ring or the optional extra-long pull cord. Once tightened, squeezing the secondary snaps provides additional security.

The latest generation of Tri-Folds contain a new polymer formulation - perfected after over a hundred prototypes - that will not dry out or become brittle, giving them greater strength and a longer shelf life.
