Most window breaking tools are not readily available. They are in the patrol car or equipment case when needed. The ASP BreakAway Subcap is designed to be inserted between the cap and the handle of a baton. She is always available. It is immediately ready to hand. When you remove the cap of the baton, the three ceramic pins of the BreakAway are revealed. At least one pin, seated in a machined aluminum dome, touches the tempered glass of a car window, no matter what angle it is inserted at. The tip of the baton can easily break any vehicle window.
